Stansomatic Earns Silver Medal from EcoVadisfor Sustainability Performance

Stansomatic reached its objective of attaining the EcoVadis Silver Certification for 2023 which is an amazing achievement for us and a significant improvement on the bronze rating in 2022. As a result, we are now among the top 15% of all companies rated by EcoVadis.

We are proud of this rating and see it as a true reflection of our efforts, as it illustrates our progress from bronze to silver. It also encourages us to keep improving.

This result marks a 10-point increase from our last assessment in 2022 and shows that we are in line with our commitment to ensure that our activities align with sustainable principles. It is also key to meeting the requirements of our customers.

Stansomatic embarked on its EcoVadis journey only a few years ago, steadily improving our scores despite the ever-rising standards of evaluation:

• 2020 Bronze Medal – score 47
• 2021 Bronze Medal – score 50
• 2022 Bronze Medal – score 54
• 2023 Silver Medal – score 64

The first assessments resulted in bronze medals. While our performance surpassed industry averages in all categories, the assessments did pinpoint specific areas for improvement.

We seriously considered these suggestions for improvement and put them into action, including the implementation of new policies as well as setting clear targets and actions.

This year’s rating has again identified some improvement areas, particularly in the sustainable procurement category.

We will continue to implement changes that benefit our customers, our business, our employees and the environment.

EcoVadis is the world’s most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings and rates us on our increasing attention to corporate social responsibility issues. They annually assess companies’ performance on international sustainability standards.
